FLATWOODS KOA – 350 Day’s Drive – Sutton, West Virginia ( Interstate 79, Fatwoods Exit # 67)
Cleanliness – 10/10 – Everything is clean and well-kept.
WiFi – 10/10 – Fast and reliable.
Amenities – 7/10 -Full hook-ups. Can accommodate large rigs. This park could have received a 10, but there were a few issues. They have 2 washers and two dryers, but one dryer was not working, and didn’t have a sign (even though it was out f commission for a while). The restrooms are clean and modern, but there are only two shows, and people were usually waiting. It is behind a Day’s Inn. Although that made sound a little sketchy, it was a beautiful park. Campers were welcome to use the hotel pools and fitness center. They also have a very large, outdoor amphitheater – good for groups.
Location – 9/10 – Agin, an odd one. It sits behind a hotel, but it is lovely. You would think you wee in an isolated area, but of course, you arenn’t. We wee surprised when we found it.
Sites 10/10 – Large, spacious, level. Pull-thru’s.
Pet Friendly – 9/10 – Regular rules apply. Plus, they have a dog walk, and hiking trails
Would I return? Absolutely.
Note- We called the manager about the dryer situation. The on-site maintenance man was there in just a few moments, followed up by a visit from the hotel manager. Although they were unable to fix the problem at that moment, they were responsive..
