BUTTERFIELD RV PARK AND OBSERVATORY

January, 2016

BUTTERFIELD PARK AND OBSERVATORY – 251 S. Ocotillo Avenue – Benson, AZ

Cleanliness – 10/10 – Everything is immaculate

WiFi – not used- too busy viewing the night sky.

Amenities – 10/10 – Pool, clubhouse, computer room, laundry, wood shop, ham radio shack, and an OBSERVATORY.

Location – 5/10 – The good is that it is close to the highway exit.  It is close to a supermarket, but there is a high fence, so you can’t see it.  It is very close to train tracks, where the conductor seems to blow the horn day and night, lon and loud.  If you are a light sleeper, I imagine it would be very annoying.

Site – 10/10 – Large, paved level, spacious.

Pet Friendly – 8/10 – Many people seemed to have pets.  However the dog park area was quite small.  People were walking their dogs in the park, not theft specified area.

NOTE – The observatory is so amazing, that it makes this park one of the best we’ve ever stayed in.
